The New Pares Space Warp Drive Promises To Make Interstellar Space Flight Practical

Phillip Duke Ph.D.

On December 15, 2014 Nebraska’s largest circulation newspaper The Omaha World-Herald published a full spread front-page article about Professor David Pares, and his development of The Pares Space Warp Drive Motor. Professor Pares is an Adjunct Professor at The University Of Nebraska at Omaha, where he teaches courses in physics and other physical sciences.

The unexplained linear displacements of aircraft in thunderstorms is a long-standing interest of his, and he has actively investigated these phenomena for many years, during which time he made many diverse electrical measurements during thunderstorms, and interviewed in depth pilots whose aircraft had experienced linear displacements in thunderstorms. Putting all this information together, he concluded that the aircraft linear displacements are due to what modern physics terms space warps, which are induced by the thunderstorms.

By examination of his massive data regarding electrical measurements of diverse parameters during thunderstorms, and correlating this with the information from pilots, he determined the electrical parameters that were always present, and evidently sufficient, to induce space warps. Next he attempted recreation of the electrical conditions necessary and sufficient for the aircraft linear displacements. After years of experimentation he finally succeeded, and obtained man-made linear displacements that were explainable only by the space warp concept.

In 1994 physicist Miguel Alcubierrre published his unique mathematical solution of Einstein’s General Field Equations. According to his work space can be warped, and the warping of space can be employed as a method of spacecraft propulsion. This space warp method of spacecraft propulsion has numerous advantages over all other methods. No propellant is necessary, only electrical energy is employed.

No time for acceleration or deceleration is required; because the spacecraft does not actually move in space- the space warp bubble moves with space, while carrying the ship and occupants within it. A crude analogy would be a surfer carried along by a wave- the wave carries the surfer with it as it moves, the surfer does not move with respect to the wave, and is relocated with it.

Most important, since the spacecraft does not move in space, its apparent velocity is not limited by Relativity, and in theory it can relocate to very large distances in a very short time- in theory there is no limit to the spacecraft’s apparent speed of relocation.

Then in theory even the most distant stars become accessible. Our galaxy called The Milky Way contains an estimated 500 billion suns, with many of them similar to our sun, and probably with Earth type worlds in orbit about them. Then in theory these Earth type worlds are available for exploitation and colonizing. If the Pares Space Warp Drive Motor fulfills its promise, it would be the most important discovery since fire, since then it would allow the human race to spread throughout the galaxy, and beyond, throughout the universe.

Please be assured the above is not science fiction. I have emailed, spoken over the phone, and met personally with Professor Pares, and he is an extremely intelligent, capable and ethical scientific investigator. He works with a research team, and has demonstrated his linear displacement results to numerous scientific observers, who say ”It should not move” but it does.

I previously wrote and published an ebook that described the use of Einstein’s Time Dilation to achieve interstellar space flight, and at the time it was written, I was not aware of the Pares Space Warp Drive Motor. When I learned about it, and its great promise for interstellar space flight, I added a new large section to the ebook that is devoted entirely to this important new development. The resulting ebook’s title is: “Interstellar Space Flight Is Not So Difficult: Expanded New Edition.” It is available at Amazon.com and also from Draft2Digital.com and also from me via social media.
I have not changed the ebook’s price, it is still only $2.99, and if you cannot purchase the ebook just me on social media, and I will gift it to you. This ebook contains very detailed information concerning the space warp motor’s history, design, construction and operation, and also provides this promising new development’s Patent Pending information. This ebook’s detailed text, numerous references and 32 illustrations make it a valuable and interesting source of information concerning The Pares Space Warp Drive Motor. Or, perhaps I should call it The Pares Space Warp Starship Drive? Read the ebook and decide.
Best regards,

Interstellar Space Flight Is Not So Difficult: Expanded New by Phillip Duke

At the time the first edition of this book was first written and published, I was unaware of “The Pares Space Warp Drive Motor,” and I wrote about employing Time Dilation by approaching light speed as the method of achieving interstellar space flight. The concept of Time Dilation (time slowing down) by approaching light speed is fundamental to modern physics, and has been experimentally confirmed (for subatomic particles). However it requires a fission atomic reactor (of the type that...
