Das Boot Season 3 Plot

Robert Ehrenberg (Franz Dinda) leads a youthful German U-Boat crew in treacherous waters as the British Navy ramps up its defenses against German attacks with increasingly powerful sonar and depth charges in Das Boot season 3. However, despite the new danger, the German submarine is dispatched on a perilous mission to the Southern Hemisphere, where Ehrenberg receives a shock when he discovers atonement through long-lost familial ties.

However, a new British naval commander, Jack Swinburne, who is played by Ray Stevenson, enters the sea battle (Rome, Thor, Black Sails). Admiral Swinburne, a former captain in the merchant marine, now heads over the USS Perseverance. Something inside him breaks after his kid dies in a German submarine attack, and he becomes bitter and dejected out of tremendous sorrow for his loss. He subsequently devotes his life to retribution against the German submarines that were responsible for his family’s death. Certainly, he’s willing to engage in a never-ending game of cat and mouse with Ehrenberg.

Das Boot always has action taking place on land, in a variety of diverse settings. So, for the first time in this 10-part series, we’re heading to Kiel, Germany’s largest naval station. SS commander Hagen Forster (Tom Wlaschiha) uncovers a murderous conspiracy to steal a fortune in wartime gold in neutral Lisbon. This, along with his recent traumatic experiences on the Eastern Front, has caused him to reevaluate his prior decisions and moral course in life so far. Klaus Hoffmann (Rick Okon), a former German U-Boat commander, is also a mysterious character from his past.

During the previous two seasons of Das Boot, Hoffman was betrayed and left for dead by his crew until being rescued from an American beach at the end of the last season. Is this unusual pairing capable of causing serious harm to the Nazis and possibly changing the direction of the war?
