The old lady had reached the age of 99. The official death certificate in Los Angeles County stated that White passed away on December 25 from a “cerebrovascular accident,” another name for a stroke. According to the AP, White’s doctor explained what had happened, as is customary in such circumstances.

According to the AP, White’s cremated remains were sent over to Glenn Kaplan, the man in charge of her health care proxy. On January 17, she would have turned 100 years old, but she passed away on January 5. The upcoming documentary “100 Years Young,” about two hours long, will feature cameos from White’s renowned friends.
