Homura Kawamoto is the author of the Japanese manga series Kakegurui. Tru Naomura is responsible for the series’ drawings. For the anime version of the manga that ran from July 1 to September 23, 2017, MAPPA took up the project. In 2018, a live-action drama adaptation of the novel was released. This year, a second season of the anime, titled “Kakegurui,” ran from January 8 to March 26, 2019. It is one of the most popular Netflix anime adaptations, adapted from the same-titled Japanese manga. As far as the show’s animation and production go, MAPPA does a great job. Everything you need to know about the third season of Kakegurui is here.
When Is The Release Date Of Kakegurui Season 3?
Neither Netflix nor MAPPA have made any announcements on the show’s future renewal as of yet. Even though the show is available on Netflix, this does not imply that Netflix has the final say over its content. Except in Japan, Netflix does not own the renewal rights to the show. MAPPA and the Japanese networks will ultimately decide whether or not to proceed with the series. In the meantime, let’s hold onto our fingers crossed that we’ll hear something about a contract extension shortly.
The present COVID-19 scenario would have scuppered any efforts to extend the show’s run. The crisis won’t cause a complete halt to manufacturing, but it will delay it considerably. Many people expected the new season to premiere in the fall of 2020, but our best estimation now puts that date in the fall of 2022. We’ll see what the future holds.

Are there any episodes of the show that have been dubbed into English?
Funimation and Anime List both have the English-dubbed episodes of Kakegurui seasons 1 and 2.

What Is The Primary Story Of Kakegurui?
Hyakkou Private Academy is the setting for Kakegurui’s narrative. One of Japan’s most exclusive private schools, it is attended by some of the country’s wealthiest students. However, the school’s hierarchy is not based on academic success or any other attribute, but rather on the pupils’ ability to gamble. Students are ranked according to the amount of money they donate to the student government at the aforementioned school. As a result of their connections, popularity, and prestige, students who are well-liked by the gaming committee will rise in the ranks. It’s the unlucky ones that get into debt, become house slaves, and have to cater to the student body’s whims and desires. They are given “life schedules” for those who can’t pay off their obligations, which will govern their destiny because they must repay the debt with their lives.
