Yasuke Season 2 Release Date Status And More!

It was on April 29, 2021, that Netflix released the first season of “Yasuke,” an original animated series centered on a historical person who will be the first African warrior. Yasuke arrived in Japan on July 25, 1579, after sailing from Africa, most likely Mozambique. Until he was deceived and killed by one of Oda Nobunaga’s generals in 1582, he served the Japanese Daimyo Lord with loyalty. He went into exile following that horrifying incident, but the rest of his story is unknown. “Yasuke” has a large following, and many people are eager to see more. “Yasuke’s” second season has so far been kept under wraps.

Yasuke Season 2 Release Date

Since the first season of ‘Yasuke’ only aired on April 29, Netflix has not confirmed any intentions for a second season of the animated series.

It’s possible that the series was viewed by a large number of Netflix subscribers around the world and that it was highly praised by critics.

LeSean Thomas, the show’s creator, hinted at something major in an interview with Comicbook.com. A second season may be commissioned, although nothing is certain at this time. Even though the project has been given the green light, fans should not expect anything else until late 2022.

Yasuke Season 2 Expected Story

Final battle: Daimyo versus Yasuke, led by Mitsuhide called the “Dark General,” at the series’ end. We’ve seen a few alliances form throughout the season. While Abraham’s old bounty hunters support Yasuke, Morisuke offers advice to Saki from the astral dimension.

As a result, there have been several tragic deaths. Ishikawa and Nikita are killed in the process. In the heat of battle, Saki honed his skills in harnessing the force of life. Yasuke is also dead as she arrives to congratulate herself on killing Daimyo. In contrast, Yasuke’s life was restored by Saki’s tears and powers, laying the groundwork for his resurrection.
It was only in the post-credit sequence that we saw Yasuke truly let go of the past. While reaching Natsumaru’s grave, he not only pays his respects but also passes on his friend’s sword to Natsumaru’s brother. A new adventure for our hero is almost certainly in store for Season 2, given how well Season 1 of the animated series concluded the plot.

Yasuke Season 2 Characters

Season 2 would almost surely have LaKeith Stanfield as the title character’s voice, but the destiny of the other voice actors would have been determined by the plot of ‘Yasuke’ season 2.

“Yasuke” has been dubbed in German, Spanish, French, and of course Japanese as well as the original English language version. Besides Oscar candidate LaKeith Stanfield and Takehiro Hira as Oda Nobunaga, this film features a cast that includes Oscar nominee Ming Na Wen as Natsumaru and Don Donahue as the evil Abraham, with Paul Nakauchi voicing solely the role of doctor Morisuke.

The second season is likely to feature several returning characters based on the plot. Of course, Stanfield will return as Yasuke, and Tanida will return as Saki at some point. Season 1 of “Yasuke” included the deaths of several of the show’s main characters, including Nobunaga, Natsumaru, and the Daimyo, played by Amy Hill. Even though anything can happen in an anime, there is no guarantee that these characters will return in Season 2.

Yasuke Season 1 Story

An African man named Yasuke went from serving Jesuit missionaries during the Nanban trade to becoming a warrior and servant of Lord Oda Nobunaga in an alternate universe of feudal Japan in the 16th century reconstructed using magic and superior technology.
